Come back to yourself

Surf retreats for women ready for something deeper than a vacation

Surf Soul is not a typical retreat.

Surf Soul is a small-group surf retreat designed for women who are ready to step out of the rhythm they’ve been living in and come back to themselves.

You’ll spend a week in Portland, Jamaica.

You’ll surf. You’ll rest. You’ll move, eat well, and have the kind of conversations that don’t usually happen in everyday life.

You’ll have the space to come back to what’s been there all along.

Your way back will be your own.

That’s why every Surf Soul retreat is kept small, personal, and deeply considered.

Surfing in the morning. The ocean as your teacher.

Time to breathe, to be in your body, to remember what it feels like when nothing is expected of you.

You don’t need to have surfed before. You just need to be willing to try.

Janelle Wright, Founder of Surf Soul

I lived in Jamaica for seven years. Not as a tourist, as someone who lived there.

I know the beaches tourists never find. I know the pace of a place that has no interest in performing for visitors. I know what it does to a woman to spend a week in water that warm, with space that generous, in a group that small.

I built Surf Soul Retreats because I came home from Jamaica different. And I knew exactly who else needed that.
